What We Believe

Luke 1:1 “...to set in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us.”

 

We believe that "All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness;"  2 Timothy 3:16

 

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

 

We believe in the deity of Christ Jesus, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His atoning death through the shedding of His blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.

 

We profess that all who believe the Gospel of Jesus Christ passes from death unto life and are granted the promise eternal life; which culminates in our sealing of the Holy Spirit unto the day of redemption. All who believe are Baptized in the name of the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit under the authority of the name of Jesus as an outward expression of inward regeneration and identification in the Body of Christ.

 

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. We also believe that anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Him.

 

We believe the that "The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son.  And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life."  1 John 5:10-12

 

We believe that  it is by grace we have been saved through faith; and that not of ourselves, it is the gift of God.

 

We believe that the true disciples of Christ Jesus will live their lives seeking to perform His will, seeking to Glorify His name, loving their brothers and sisters in Christ, forgiving one another, encouraging one another,  edifying one another, admonishing one another, assembling with one another and partaking in communion with one another.

 

We believe that Christ Jesus will return for His Bride, the true Church which is His Body in the earth.
